Do You Remember the 21st Night of September: Entrance & Dances

For our entrance into the reception we came into "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire. I literally can't get over how perfect that song fit into our wedding day! Our wedding party was so fun all dancing into the ballroom as they were being announced and I remember standing beside my groom as each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen filed in thinking "OH MY GOSH WE'RE WALKING INTO OUR RECEPTION!!! WE'RE MARRIED!!!" As soon as we heard "Announcing for the first time, Mr & Mrs. Colvin" we started dancing into the ballroom and my heart was so happy it could have burst, really! The crowd was cheering and it was just such a magical moment. Our bridal party had lined the sides of the dance floor and I handed my bouquet off to my MOH and we had our first dance.
We danced to "When you got a good thing" by Lady Antellbellum, listen to it now if you haven't heard it already! I remember it feeling like it was just Josh and I in the room...and I was crying the whole time...again, happy happy happy tears rolled that WHOLE day. Josh and I had a little surprise up our sleeves and as Lady A was ending our DJ started mixing in "Tonight I'm Lovin' You" by Enrique Iglesias. Josh and I got into place and whipped out our choreographed first dance and everyone went BONKERS! It was SO much fun and I'm so glad we decide to incorporate in a sweet, slow dance and a fast, upbeat one!

My dad and I danced to LeeAnn Womack's "I Hope You Dance" and yet again, I cried like a baby. Dad was so sweet as we danced and to not be much of a dancer, he did quite a good job. I asked him if he was going to miss me being at home and he said "more than you'll ever know" and then I sobbed some more. Josh and his mom danced to Elvis' "The Wonder of You" and their dance was perfect, they both have such good moves!
