Sponsor Spotlight

Happy Tuesday friends! Today is the 3rd Sponsor Spotlight for Every Day Life. I would like to introduce you to Heather from Living at 1 2 3

About Heather:
"Hi, I'm Heather. Just Heather... I'm married to an amazing husband that finds the humor in all my antics and I will soon be a mom. That's right, as in parent to a child. Not a furry, four-legged child like I already am, but a human one this time. It has been a LONG 9 months with most of it spent on bedrest growing this baby. I'm anxious to get back to life and ME. I love crafting, some of which does not turn out so crafty. Decorating my house or your's if you ask... Reading, I was a reading/writing teacher for 7 years. This comes natural to me and I read everything! Magazines are my guilty pleasure. Cooking, it is good to burn something occasionally to keep those of us considered Top-Notch Chefs humble. I love going to flea markets and finding trash to turn to treasures. I haven't been in quite some time due to the pregnancy, but plan to get back into treasure hunting. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE all things beauty and product related. I'm a junkie. I can't help it.
I strive each day to make it better than the one before. Grab a cup of coffee or wine and stop by and visit!"

She is a soon-to-be mommy! Head on over to Heather's blog, visit her page, and she her some love! She had a great blog with DIY crafts, things about her pregnancy and everything in between. Go take a peek!

xoxo -Until next time

Mix & Match

It has officially been a week since my horrid Monday last week and I am HAPPY to report that, even though it's only a little after 12, this Monday is much much much better than last and I am very thankful for that. Homecoming week is currently under way here on campus and I'm going to be so busy. I was literally nervous for this week to start because I knew how much was going to be going on and I just didn't want to get overwhelmed...but the first day of the way has started off nicely, hopefully this will continue throughout the rest of the week! Tonight is the big talent show on campus, our theme this is year is Mardi Gras and my sorority and our brother fraternity have a fantastic routine for tonight, hope we pull it off well! Mom and Dad came to visit yesterday and every single time they come it is just the best day. Mom and I got to do some shopping, we all ran errands around town, spent 25 minutes listening to the singing cards in Wal-Mart, decorated my door for Valentines and had a great dinner at Outback, they made my Sunday wonderful  :)

Now on to today's post, I used to not be that big a fan of stripes that recently that has changed big time. I bought a striped shirt just yesterday :) Last Thursday I wore this outfit to class. The pants are a mustardy-yellow courdoroy from J Crew, my top is a striped shirt from Gap and my jacket is Duck Head. This outfit was stepping out of the box for me but I looooved the way it turned out!

This necklace I have on, I am obsessed with! I wear it anytime I can.
I'm definitely on board with the big flowers and neat bead
colored necklaces. I'm currently on the hunt for more :)
Have you experimented with any of your clothes lately? Stepped out of your box? Wore stripes?

Happy Monday friends, I hope everyone has a GREAT start to their week!

Happy Saturday! HOORAY for the weekend. I was up at 6:45 for this morning getting ready for my 7:30 a.m. report to Admissions. We had Open House on campus this morning and although I had to get up early, I had a great time. The tour group I was with was really great, nice parents, nice students and it was a beautiful day. I throughly enjoyed my day and I think I enjoyed my nap after Open House even more, haha! My mom and dad are coming to visit tomorrow and I am pretty stoked about that AND my granny called to chat with me today which was fantastic, I love hearing from her and my papa.
Today I want to blog about what TV shows that suck me in every week. Here is what I love:

The Big Bang Theory- I just jumped on this bandwagon, I'm really late, I know. But I LOVE this show, it is so funny. Sheldon makes me laugh so hard, he is such a hoot! The cast meshes (excuse my spelling on that) so well together, I hate I'm just now catching on to this show!

The Bachelor- This show kind of rocks my nerves and I think it's kind of crazy to find love that way but nevertheless, sucks me in every.single.time. Courtney has GOT to go...got to got to got to. Thank heavens Monica got the boot last week. I love Kacie B. (even though I thought she was acting a little funny on last weeks show) and I also like Emily, she seems really nice and very true to herself. And on a side note, I wish they would get NEW people to be the Bachelor and Bachelorette. It aggravates the sin out of me that they keep "recycling" people from past seasons, I want to see new faces!

Dance Moms- OH MY WORD, this show sucks me in instantly everytime it's on! The amount of time they make those poor young girls put in in INSANE. I feel bad for them 99% of the time. It's like they never stop, always dancing. Although, they really are great dancers, you can definitely tell they work their tails off. And the moms are hilarous and so catty! They are at each other alllll the time and if they aren't at each other, they are at Abby, the dance teacher. Sometimes Abby acts like a crazy woman, I have the urge to yell at the TV often.

I also watch the Kardashians, E! News, the local news (is that weird? I'm a communications major and NO one in my major seems to watch the news and that's what half of them want to do with their lives! Seems like they'd start watching the news at SOME point), the Today Show, and anything else random that catches my eye.

What shows are your favs?

Behind the Girl

I've realized over the last few days that I have posted a lot about fashion and crafts and makeup and all sorts of random stuff, but I haven't done any posts that are directly about me and my life, so bare with me today, this could be a bit of writing but hopefully something you'll enjoy reading and let you get to know me a little better. Today I want to write a little about my life. Over the past week I have done a lot of blog searching and following new blogs and reading about others experiences with life and school and love and family. Right now I'm a sophomore/junior here at Lander University. I'm graduating a year early (May 2013). I enjoy school and learning but I'm kind of over it and school isn't really my thing. I'm studying Mass Communications and I really want to get into the field of Public Relations when I graduate. When I started school this year I began to hunt for every internship in town and anything and everything I could do to make my resume look better and to be a competitive candiate for the job market when I graduate. I am often paranoid about not finding a job when I get out of school or no one wanting me...although I know in my heart and head I am an extremely hard worker and capable of scoring a great job, I still get nervous all the time. But I'm padding my resume constantly and hopefully I'll land a great internship this summer. I hope that I am able to find a job that fits me perfectly, that I enjoy going to everyday and that supplies me with the sufficient funds to live comfortably. Where I'm at college at I'm about an hour and a half from home. My family and boyfriend all live in Columbia. Josh and I have been together close to 2 years now and he has truly been a blessing in my life. All of our relationship has consisted of being long distant relationship (until summer that is, and then I'm back in town). It is hard and it is tiring but it is also so wonderful and so worth it, I would not trade our relationship for anything in the world. I tell people all the time that are currently single that I wish I could duplicate Josh and give him to everyone in need of a better half! He is so caring, loving, patient, kind, and everything that I could ever hope for in another person. I hope that every single person in the world finds the kind of love that I have found with him, I never knew I could love someone so much or that love could be so magical, but I suppose when you find the right person, that's what happens :) I am an odd bird sometimes and he totally gets it and that kind of blows me away. My advice to anyone in a long distance relationship is to say I Love You all the time, don't hold on to pety things, enjoy every moment you get to spend with the one you love, and to treasure each other and never ever ever take each other for granted. I have found that when you concentrate on finding the good and happiness in a relationship, you will many times avoid the bad. Since I am a good ways away from my family during the school year and so involved on campus I often times go a while before I get to see them. I really treasure my time at home now. Freshman year I took my time at home for granted but after my parents and I both adjusted to me being away from home and off on my own we all started to enjoy our time together more. I love going home and seeing my family and getting to catch up and just sit around a dinner table together. It's nice to go back home and everything still be the same for the most part and for everything to pick back up where I had left it the last time that I was home. My mom and I are besties, legit, she's incredible. My dad is a trip...and he wouldn't ever admit it but he is such a softy! It is the most precious thing to watch him and mom stand in the driveway waving like crazy while I drive away to come back to school. And last but not least are my friends, Rebecca, Griffyn, Kellie and Kayla. Griffyn and I actually came together to Lander and she moved back home and is now attending the University of South Carolina and is stuyding to be a nurse, she is going to be the best nurse you have ever seen, seriously, she is. She is so smart and so driven! Rebecca is at Applachian State and during the school year I don't get to see her much, except on breaks. Rebecca and I are POLAR opposites but the best of friends, it's the oddest thing you've ever seen, HA! She knows me so well and vice versa and every moment we spend together is a memory in the making. I think what amazes me most about my relationship with Rebecca is that we are so different but so connected at heart, like we were always meant to be friends and by fate, found each other one day. Kayla and Kellie are twins and complete the quartet of Rebecca and I. We all know each other like the back of our hands and don't do anything but laugh and act like crazy people when we are together and my description of our friendship would NOT be complete if I didn't include that EVERY, yes every, time we are together we end up talking about and planning our weddings, it's the craziest thing you've ever seen.

So, this is a little glimpse into my life. I'm in to everything I can possibly get into and I stretch myself too thin the majority of the time. I don't mind be alone and I am in bed on a school night at least by 11:30. I can manage my time like nobodys business and I always get what I have to do done. I am so driven and want to do great things in life. I can't wait to accomplish the goals I have for myself and the dreams that I envision of my life everyday. I love animals. My obsession with elephants is ca-razy! I wear my heart on my sleeve. I want to make friends with everyone and try to make my friends with everyone. I like to be genuine with others and to meet genuine people. I sing a lot...but Im horrible. I dance a lot...but I'm horrible at that too. I dress up every single day, yes, every.single.day. But I always take off all my clothes and put on my PJ's in between classes, it's weird, I know, because I have to put all my clothes back on to go back to class. I try not to let people rock my nerves too often...but sometimes it happens. I'm talkative...sooooooo talkative. I love pickles and I love chocolate. I hate cheese. I love my dog, you have no idea. She is a big back lab and I literally pick her up and tote her around the house like she is my child. And she has like 50 billion names, I dont call her by her real name, I call her by the ther million I have made up for her, and they are strange names. I name everything, literally EVERYTHING. And if it already has a name, I nick-name it (ex. Tiger Woods- Tigey, Tim Tebow- Teby the Tebster). I hate math, I'm so bad at it and I'm so bad at science. I holler and scream at the TV when I'm watching sports like I know what's going on. I don't pay full price for anything...absolutely nothing. I love God and I strive to build my relationship with Him stronger and stronger everyday. I enjoy the small things about life and although I love big and fancy, I don't need a lot to make my happy. And of course, I'm just living my Every Day Life.

This is me on a daily basis.
If there is any question that you have for me, pleeeease let me know and I shall give you an answer!

I got two really adorable hats for Christmas and I haven't really worn these types of hats much before, but a few days ago I tried it out and really enjoyed the way it looked. I don't see many people wearing hats and I like to be different and I really liked the way it turned out with my outfit.
Mine is a little brown tweed hat with a flower on the side.
How do you feel about hats? Do you wear them often?

This sweater forms a beautiful flower on the back in the design, I love it!
I thought my shoes were cute so they needed to be photographed too :)
Yesterday I was working in Admissions and my name tag and business cards came in! It makes me feel so official so I had to share with you guys :)
Sorry guys, had to scratch some info out for safety purposes!

Fancy huh?!
(Nails done, hair done, everything did. Oh you fancy huh? I couldn't resist hahaha!)

Heaven is for Real

I finished Heaven is for Real a few months ago and it was GREAT! If you haven't read it, please go do so ASAP!
"When Colton Burpo made it through and emergency appendectomy, his family was overjoyed at his miraculous survival. What they weren't expecting, though, was the story that emerged in the months that followed--a story as beautiful as it was extraordinary, detailing their little boy's trip to heaven and back.
Colton, not yet four years old, told his parents he left his body during the surgery--and authenticated that claim by describing exactly what his parents were doing in another part of the hospital while he was being operated on. He talked of visiting heaven and relayed stories told to him by people he me there whom he had never met in life, sharing events that happened even before he was born. He also astonished his parents with the descriptions and obscure details about heaven that matched the Bible exactly, though he had not yet learned to read.
With disarming innocence and the plainspoken boldness of a child, Colton tells of meeting long-departed family members. He scribes Jesus, the angels, how "really, really big" God is, and how much God loves us. Retold by his father, but using Colton's uniquely simple workds, Heaven is for Real offers a glimpse of the world that awaits us, where as Colton syays, "Nobody is old and no body wears glasses."
Heven is for Real will forever change the way you thnk of eternity, offering the chance to see, and believe, like a child."

This book is nothing short of amazing and encourage everyone to read it. It is not time consuming and you'll be able to read it very quickly. The way this little boy describes heaven is like no other and it makes you feel so differently about heaven. I wish I had better words to describe this book but it's really just one you have to pick up and read!

Happy Hump Day!

Brita Pitcher

Happy Tuesday friends! If anyone saw my post from yesterday, it was not a good Monday. Before I go into today's post I want to take a quick second to tell you about the second half of my day yesterday. My afternoon went pretty well and after my evening class I got back to my room in time to put on sweats, grab something to eat and rest on the couch and watch the Bachelor before I had to be at my sorority meeting at 9. Well, I'm a Resident Assistant here on campus and in my dorm building I am over 40 girls. This job is stressful but definitely rewarding. So it's about 8:45 and I'm watching the Bachelor and getting ready to go to my meeting and I get a panicked knok on my door. By this sound of this knock I knew something was wrong. I opened my door and one of my residents was standing there with this horrible look on her face and said that another one of my residents had passed out cold on the floor. I swear to you, this job almost sends me into cardiac arrest, weekly. I put on shoes, grabbed my notebook and keys and went flying down the hall. These issues always scare me because I hate for something to be happening to someone and me not knowing how to help them. When I got to my resident she was face down in the floor barely breathing, and at this point I think I was barely breathing. I immediately called campus police and the dispatcher was telling me all these things to do and asking me all this questions about my residents condition. I was writing things down like a madwoman. Normally it feels like a lifetime before campus police arrives but tonight they got there quickly and I was so thankful. I rummaged through my residents room looking for her I.D., any medication she may take, her parents contact information and I was scribbing away on my notepad so I could give all this information to EMS. Thankfully, she finally came to and the paramedics arrived shortly after the police did and took her to the hospital, I havent seen her yet today but I'm going to go check on her after classes. So I make it to the last half of my sorority meeting, that ends, I get back to my room and all I want to do is sleep. I get ready for bed and I've probably been snuggled in for about 30 mintues and I was having trouble falling asleep again and I get ANOTHER knock on my door. I open the door, in my PJs, hair a mess, glasses on, retainer in and my resident tells me that her suitemates locked her out of the bathroom...REALLY?! It's 11:45 at night. So I go to her room and jar open the door with a random key (which, had this girl listened to me at our very first meeting, she would have heard me say, if you get locked out of the bathroom, stick a random key in the key hole, jiggle it and you will almost always get in). And I barely get a thank you from her on my way back to my room...Apparently yesterday wanted to test and try me, literally all day long. But today is a new day and THAT I am happy about :)

Now onto today's post (p.s. thank you SO much for listening to my stories)
I used to waste a lot of plastic, I mean a ton. I bought big packs of bottled water everytime I'd go to the grocery store and drink a few bottles a day. Now granted I recycled all my bottles, it just seemed to get a little crazy after awhile. Josh had bought a Brita pitcher a while back and told me how much he liked his. I decided when I started school last semester that I was done spending lots of money on bottled water and doing serioues damage to the environment. So I went and bought a Brita Pitcher and I love it! They come in so many awesome colors and I fill it up everyday, pop it in the fridge and have water that lasts me all day and it's filtered and very clean which I really like. I encourage you, if you're still in the age of buying lots of bottled water, stop it! Go buy a Brita Pitcher, or any kind of filtering pitcher for that matter. I would venture to say that filter last about four months, which is really fantastic and you can buy a refills 4 for $20 at Wal- Mart. The filters are super easy to change and this pitcher is definitely worth the money. I believe I got mine for $26 at Wal-Mart and it's one of the biggest pitchers you can buy. Although it seems like a big purchase at first, you're definitely saving money if you drink a lot of water like I do. They have many different sizes of pitchers so you can choose which one fits your lifestyle best. Also, go green! Anything that is good for the environment, I'm definitely down for.

Must be Monday

I have yet to take to my blog to talk about my days..or more like complain about days but that
ends TODAY. I try my best to not be negative and to always focus on the bright side...but today has just been one of those days and I need to vent! I apologize in advanced for my semi-sore attitude today.
I haven't had a trying/crappy day in quite some time...but today has proved that I am obviously long over due. It's Monday, it's cold, it's rainy, and it has not been a good day. Well I take that back, everyday that I wake up to is a good day, this one is just not that fabulous I guess you should say.
My day started off OK, I didn't get much sleep last night but I didn't feel that groggy when I got up this morning so I thought I'd be fine and I got up and dressed in time to make it to the caf for breakfast AND to print off PowerPoints for my Geology class in the library before class started, this is an accomplishment friends. So I get to Geology and it is just so boring and my sleep deprived-ness (a new word here LOL) starts to kick in, I am fighitng sleep hard and I know that my next class (Art) is going to be a tough one to stay awake in, and I DO NOT fall asleep in class, so I knew I had to go grab some coffee before that class. So I'm booking it to Java City because I have 10 minutes to get there, get coffee, and get to class. Well the girls coffee in front of me is taking entirely too long but the lady behind the counter finally gets to me and she is really sweet which is a plus. I grab my coffee put all yummy stuff in it and JET to class. I'm already a really fast walker but I am seriously trucking it at like 75 miles an hour to get to class...class starts 10:20 and I'm almost there. Well I walk into the Student Center, and its been raining all morning, and what happens other then I slip and almost BUST my behind trying to get to class...so my coffee splats on the ground but I somehow get my balance back and I keep on trucking and I get to class at exactly 10:19 and what has the Professor done but none other than already started class, has the lights off and proceeds to call me out when I walk in...I am NEVER late to this class, NEVER miss a class and take notes like nobodys business. UGH! So I get to my seat, get out my notebook, and spill coffee all over my sweater...really?! Must this happen! Oh and I forgot to mention, I check my email this morning and my Journalism article that is supposed to be due Thursday has been to changed to due by 5 oclock today...do I have time today to write an article? I most certainly do NOT! Monday is my busy day and I have NO, NONE, NADA, ZIP time to write an article today, but I'm going to make it happen somehow. Anyways, my Art Prof is always inappropriate but he is just crossing the line today and I am not in the mood for this and he just keeps on and on, I gave him so many deaths stares, I really couldn't help it. So I finally get out of the class and head to lunch. The caf is PACKED and everyone just happens to want to be rude today. Like cutting in the lines to get food, literally pushing and shoving to get past you, just ridiculous stuff...we're in college people, have some respect! And I have lab today...YUCK! I hate lab, really hate lab.
But that is how my Monday is so far, and it's only 12:30, bless my soul. I really hope my day starts to get better.

Plus side of today:
My coffee really did the trick to wake me up.
I was in need of serious prayer today to keep me sane, so I had a nice little chat with the Man Upstairs and it made me remember how grateful I am that I even woke up with morning with good health and the ability to get out of bed and get to class, no matter how boring or bad they may be. I know I should talk to God constantly during the day and not only in times of need, but this bad day turned me to Him and that immediately uplifted my spirits.
Then Josh told me that he said a little prayer for my day to get better and that was so sweet.
And I texted Coley, my baby cousin, who is like my brother, just to tell him that I was thinking about him and loved him and I really enjoyed getting to chat with him for a little, I miss him a lot while I'm at school.

So, through the madness that was upon me this morning, I know that my day is certain to get better and if it happens to not get better, bedtime will be upon me soon...not anytime soon, but it'll be here before I know it HA!

I hope that your Monday has started better than mine!

Sweet Tooth

Man oh man, Josh gets serious boyfriend points for bringing me a box of Russell Stover Pecan Delights when we visited each other this weekend. My mom bought a box of these at Christmas and...I ate the whole entire box...just like I've already eaten the box that Josh brought me this weekend...I'm going to have to spend so much time in this gym this week, Lord have mercy! Anyways, I was hesitant to try this chocolate, I love chocolate but usually just plain and not with a lot of stuff inside but OH MY WORD , you guys have got to try these Pecan Delights, they are the most delicious things. Annnnnd since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I'm hoping for a box or two more :)

This is the original box...I think I'm drooling just looking at it!

They also have make dark chocolate ones too that are just fabulous!

Besides chocolate I really like fruity candies...I love Skittles, Mike and Ikes, and Sour Patch Kids.
What tickles your sweet tooth?

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and a great start to their week tomorrow :)

Oh so happy to see Friday arrive, although it was a 4 day school week, that's sad. Today I'm going to talk about my planner, random , I know but it seems like people all over the blog world are talking about planners so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon.
Before this school year I thought planners were the stupidest thing and cost a lot of money for not much use. Well, I will proudly say I have been proved wrong. I got my Vera Bradley Student Agenda at the beginning of this school year and it has been a life saver. I'm really good at remembering all that I have to do and normally don't forget assignments or where I'm supposed to be, etc. but this planner is wonderful! It's not too big and fits perfectly in my tote bag. It has plenty of room to write down everything that I have going on and it has fun stickers to decorate with, who doesn't like that ?!

I can't remember the exact price of this when I bought it but I believe it was $18, which made me cringe a little in the store, but when I got up to the counter it was 20% off, which made it a little better. But I will say that it was a great investment and perfect for me. Vera Bradley also makes another agenda that has a hard binder cover and is about the same size as mine and it's $24, but I wasn't paying over $20 for something I was going to write in and then throw away and plus mine is the student agenda which has it set up perfectly for classes and such. Soooo , if you are looking for a new planner or if you're looking to buy your first planner, take it from me (the one who thought planners were ridiculous and too expensive) it's worth the purchase. I love mine :)

Have a beautiful weekend, friends!

Fur Vest

I got an adorable fur vest for Christmas and it has really taken over my wardrobe, and I don't mind a bit. Fur vest are definitely in this season so if you don't have one, you know what that means, time for a shopping trip! I got my vest at Catos but you can find them almost anywhere. I really like this particular vest because of the detailing on the left side.

My camera was not being kind to me today so I apologize for the quality of the pictures.

Today I paired my best with a tan dress, tights and boots. This past weekend I wore a gray turtle neck, dark skinny jeans and boots with my vest.

Vest are SUPER cute in the winter so if you have one that's just hanging in your closet, wear that thing!
Happy Wednesday :)

Homemade Icing

Sorry for being MIA all this weekend you guys, I was so busy I hardly had time to breath. But I had a great weekend and am now back to school and back to the daily grind. Josh's 27th birthday is today (3 years until 30! Ca-Razy, I like to give him a hard time about it but only out of love of course) and I wanted to make him a cake. He's all about some funfetti so his cake was funfetti and I made homemade icing thanks to Kate at The Small Things Blog. I saw her post and instantly got inspired to make my own icing, especially after I saw that the recipe didn't call for that many ingredients and it was soooo simple.

Here's what you're going to need:
A stick of butter
1/4 cup of Crisco
1/8 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of powdered sugar (if you want the frosting sweeter, add more powdered sugar)
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of milk (if you want the frosting fluffier, add more milk)
Now, in Kate's recipe she puts thing in her bowl step by step. Well, I happened to get a little TOO excited and didn't keep on reading after the ingredients section and I ended up dumping all the ingredients and then mixing, but it turned out perfect so, my advice...dump them all in at once HA! I made 2 batches and the 2nd batch I made I followed her mixing directions and both batches came out the same way. So, just put all those ingredients in a bowl and get out your blender and mix away. I wanted my icing to have color to it so I added a drop and 1/2 of green food coloring and close to 5 drops of blue food coloring and got a beautiful blue-green color. As you can see above it says to add more milk if you want the frosting a little thinner and fluffier, after the 2 intial tablespoons, I ended up adding only a little more milk, I didn't measure it out, just poured straight from the cartoon and I also ended up dumping some more powdered sugar in, I didn't measure that either, I just added and tasted and did that until it was perfect.
I am incredibly amazed at how GOOD this icing (and cake was too). Seriously! Even Josh said it was delicious, so trust me, this recipe is awesome! The next time you bake a cake, try to make your own frosting and see how it turns out!
Happy Baking!

I loved the way it turned out (I brought half the cake back to school with me to eat, haha!)

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I went to a baby shower this weekend, hung out with some great friends, watched poor Tim Tebow lose (he is just awesome, I hated to see the Broncos lose), I went to church with my fam, went out of town to celebrate Josh's birthday with his fam, and then spent all day yesterday with Josh, we had breakfast together, played some disc golf and celebrated his day of birth!

Hey guys! It's late on Friday and I am about to hit the sack but I just wanted to update you guys real quick. I'm going to be ALL SORTS of busy this weekend, so my posting will probably be nonexistent but I'll be back on my game hopefully by Monday. I've got a baby shower, headed out of town on Sunday, Josh's birthday celebrations Monday and a billion other things in between so just hang in there with me and I'll be back posting in a jiff!

So I want to wish everyone a beautiful, happy, and safe weekend. Enjoy every minute of it!
By the way, I've seen some new followers joining this week and I just want to say THANK YOU, so so so so much! It means the world to me :)

xoxo, Linds

On this blog you see many post about daily life, outfits, etc. but the purpose of this blog is to be inspirational and motivational, piece of my heart from me to you. I want to encourage women and I want to be a constant reminder that God has a plan for YOU and you are NEVER alone! Remember; YOU are BEAUTIFUL!!"

Megan's Questions for Me:
1. What is the purpose behind your blog & your blog name?
The purpose behind my blog is a place for me to have a creative outlet and talk about things I enjoy and to read other people's passions as well! And my blog name directly reflects what I blog about, just me, living every day life.
2. What is your middle name?
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Oh my, I really have no idea...somewhere that would make me happy and somewhere that my family could visit me a lot :)
4. What is your all time favorite movie?
Sweet Home Alabama
5. What is your favorite food?
Pickles! or maybe brownies
6. What kind of vehicle do you drive?
Mazda Tribute, a darling little SUV
7. Are you crafty? If not, do you want to be?
Yes, but only recently have I become crafty. I used to make the ugliest things you've ever seen in your LIFE, not kidding, but I have really stepped my game up.
8. If you had to make a decision to eat pizza or wings for the rest of your life (and not gain a lb.) which one would you choose?
Oh bless, probably wings...I guess...haha so indecisive.
9. Have you ever been to Alabama?
No, but I would love to! A few years back I had an obession with Alabama. I swore that was where I was going to school (University of Alabama) and I bought all this apparel. I'm nuts, but I am still extremely fond of Crimson Tide football.
10. Favorite vacationing spot?
Oh man, definitely Hawaii, I'd jump on a plane back there in a skinny minute.
11. What is your life motto?
To dream as much as you can, to be as ambitious as you want to be, to conquer everything possible, to love with every bit of your heart, to care for others more than you care for yourself and to take every day and make the absolute best of it.

Now, I know you are supposed to tag 11 people to do this with...but, I don't think I'm even up to 11 followers yet...haha that is sad, BUT I am on my way so for now I won't tag anyone but as soon as I make some more blogging friends I'll jump right on that!

Happy Thursday!
Megan's button (link to her blog) is also on the right hand side of my page. It is a direct link to her blog. If you are interested in Swap Sponsoring check out the Sponsor tab at the top of my page!

Oh, How Pinteresting

Today, for the first time, I am linking up with The Vintage Apple for

Here are a few, a very few because I have like billions, of things that I love on Pinterest this week!

This is my motto, I.hate.boring.clothes

I love this, its just a bench and shelf against the wall, but all of it is painted the same color so it looks like one big piece of furniture, genius!

I really want to make one of these musical canvases for Josh, this is awesome!

Love love love this, I will definitely have this in my house one day.

I saw this Tiffany & Co. inspiration for a baby shower and it immediately made me think of one of my friends who is obsessed with Tiffanys, this is too cute and so creative.

I loooooove this saying for a mom, I'm going to put it in a note and mail it to my mom next week!

Happy Wednesday! I hope you spend lots of time plundering on Pinterest today :)
